COVID 19 has not only changed people's day to day life activities, but also their daily needs. The need for masks and hand sanitizers have risen substantially worldwide. However, access to the first line and most important defense against globally threatening pandemic is not equally reached. 
different parts of the world have been affected differently. As part of  a global response, our invitative has started in order to provide individuals and families in need the protection against covid.
The medsupplies team was founded in July and we were able to distribute:

• 1500 masks to a slum and 1000 masks to a government maternity hospital in Bangalore. 
• 500 masks to BBMP and Asha workers in Bangalore. 
• 1,000 masks to a slum under Wadala bridge, Mumbai.
• 200 food packets, Mysuru- Vidyaranyapura slum.
• 200 masks and 5L sanitizer Cooper hospital Mumbai.

 However, shortage in the resources have been a great obstacle to our work, where the supplies can not cover the demand.
Our conference aims to raise  awareness as well as raising donations, to expand our limited supplies coverage and magnify our local action for greater global effect.
