This fundraiser is specifically aimed at supporting underprivileged children in NDMC schools, who have been disproportionately affected by the educational disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic has widened the gap between students with access to learning resources and those without. Many children have fallen behind in their education, especially in core subjects like literacy and numeracy. We need your help to ensure that these children get the support they need to succeed in school and life.
When We Need Funds
We are seeking funds as soon as possible to address the urgent educational needs of these children. The current academic year 2024-25, and we plan to use the funds immediately to provide tailored support in the form of remedial coaching, FLN programs, and necessary school supplies.
How We Plan to Use the Funds
The funds raised will be allocated towards:
- FLN Programs for 5th to 8th grade and Remedial Coaching for 9th and 10th grade: To strengthen literacy and numeracy skills, especially for students struggling after the pandemic's disruptions.
- School Supplies: Providing notebooks, textbooks, and uniforms to ensure every child has the basic tools for learning.
- Extracurricular Activities: Organizing summer camps, exposure visits, and annual events to enhance students' learning experiences and personal growth.
