Support UDYAM To Provide Quality Education To Children And Women

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.-" Nelson Mandela

Udyam is a Delhi-based not-for-profit organization working towards the holistic development of underprivileged children. It was started 20 years ago to bring together children from slums near AIIMS (in South Delhi) and to make them learn in a fun and supportive environment. Our key objective is to provide academic assistance to the enrolled children and also address their personality development needs. Udyam is committed to supporting each child by building a strong educational foundation, self-esteem, and ethical values. The long-term view is also to help them develop an honest outlook towards life, plan how they can earn a steady livelihood and improve their standard of living.

Udyam has also decided to address the issues affecting the children more fundamentally by starting programs aimed at upliftment and empowerment of women who are the pillars of the family institution and potential agents of long-term social change. The programs aim to equip the women with skills and knowledge that help them make their lives and the lives of people around them better. The key underlying idea is to motivate them to think beyond their set boundaries.

To be able to continue providing quality education and to expand our work. Kindly, extend your support to keep us growing.

Dear Supporters,

We would take this opportunity to highlight our progress until now and briefly let you know how we are using the resources being extended to us:
• We now have about 180 students enrolled with us who attend remedial classes six days a week. We focus not only on their academic development but also conduct activities and programs for overall personality development.
• Additionally, or programme  Mahila Samarthya  Manch has been trying to empower women by the means of education, workshops, training etc. At present 42 women are enrolled in this programme.
• Birthdays are special for every child, but for these underprivileged children, they remain a  dream. Some of our donors have helped us organize birthday parties for these children and make their day special too.
• A few months ago we organized Anand Mela, the response was tremendous, nearly 300 people visited the Mela. They savored homemade street food and enjoyed playing games at games stalls manned by our students.
We have a lot more milestones to achieve and will keep working towards them with your support.
Thank you for trusting us and helping us in our endeavors.
