We lost our dear friend, Dr. Tulasi Tirupati (44), to CoVid-19 on Sep 12th 2020 in Hyderabad India. He was a Professor at Siddartha Institute of Technology at the time of his death.
Tulasi was part of Mechanical Engineering graduating batch of 1998 from OUCE (Osmania University), Hyderabad. He has taught and mentored many students in his 18 years of working as a faculty.
Tirupathi was academically brilliant, hardworking and a kind soul. It was his passion to teach, share his knowledge and serve the society. His colleagues refer to him as a humble and highly respectable person, and students remember him as an inspiring guide and mentor.
He is survived by his parents, wife and three children 18, 14 and 9. Tulasi was the sole source of income for his family and this is a great loss for them. The impact is huge as the family was dependent on his income heavily, and their current circumstances do not allow them to immediately find employment that pays them to meet their financial needs.
Tirupati was known as very caring and approachable for anything at any time in OUCE. He was a dedicated faculty member and was teaching online classes until the day before his untimely death. We, as his batch mates from OUCE, would like your support for this initiative to provide necessary financial security to his family. We aim to get the family to be operational in their day-to-day needs as well as ensure his kids are educated through college.
