Story

Blessed by Paws, is an initiative by Ms. Trupti Dewan, to provide a forever home for all lost n abandoned pedigree dogs whose adoption has failed due to age or sickness. This home came into existence around 5 yrs ago. Currently, we have 15 permanent residents & 3 critical cases under our care. The purpose of the fundraiser is to provide better facilities like sheds, enclosures, raised boundary walls, better cooling systems n healthcare, and a dedicated space for the paralysis section. We need this for existing residents & those house pets who are getting abandoned due to COVID 19 pandemic.
Media has time and again announced&educted that COVID 19 is not spread through canines, still, people are too scared to understand n simply leaving there pets on roads or shelters or clinics. Since these pets are home raised n survival on road is next to impossible especially when the weather is so hot n humid. Hence I bring them to my home.

Not only home pets but even our Canine officer and Solider, who retire from services due to age or disabilities do not have any support from there department are written off. I bring these soldiers too. Those who lost their body part or as age progress they can't be useful, can't b left to die.
I have single-handed continued with this noble cause but now due to COVID 19 pandemic, we need support from all our friends n families to continue with this initiative. Together we can help n support more canines to get a permanent resident. Please come forward to support us for food, medicine n funds for paying rents, bills, and other expenses.
