Sandhya is house wife and social worker from Bhubaneswar, Odisha. She loves children and always thinks about the well being of Children of the community.
After lockdown from June 24 2020, Sandhya had a bad experience of about the changes in the health of their children due to locked inside the four wall of house. Her two children we thin and pale so she felt the need some emotional support and nutritional food to tackle issue. She consult the doctor how she could address the issues. Doctor advised to give milk regularly then then can improve mentally and physically . As per the consultation of Doctor, she started a glass of milk every day to her two grown up children and the issues resolved.
She thought of other children how they are doing in urban slum of Bhubaneswar and other remote area . She visited and started identified children in the community from daily wage labourer family and started supply one packet of OMFED milk in each family which cost of 23/- INR and monthly cost of Rs. 690/- INR . Now the children are growing mentally and physically but due to lack fund she is not able to reach out many more who are still need support .
