In India where 70% of its population lives in rural areas, donkeys are used for their hardest labor like ploughing fields and other means of transportation but they are never on their list of domesticated animals, utilities roundly and then left on their own. In India, other wildlife like lions and snow leopards, and so on had been given needed importance to preserve and save but somehow, we had never taken a step forward to save those stray donkeys that we see at every corner of the market.

The situation of decreasing number of donkeys can also be seen in Ladakh where mechanization replacement of laborious labor resulted in lots of uncared and unsheltered donkeys all around the street where growing numbers of dead increased rapidly due to eating metallic mix card boxes and garbage since none care to give them food and babies were being killed by stray dogs.  So, we are planning to build the first-ever well-known conservation park for helpless donkeys in Leh. Not only to save the declining population of donkeys but to break the people’s prejudice against the donkey by making the donkey sheltering Center a tourist spot where people can take a selfie and interact and consciously create their own awareness. Becoming a shelter where donkeys can find their friends and people can play with donkey babies. So, donkeys later become the most likely to be petted animal rather than used whenever needed and thrown.

Preservation of donkeys is morally important and also our responsibility as intelligent creatures in this world. This preservation center was successfully able to construct from the hard work from local people, here in Ladakh. We need your help to complete their project in Leh Ladakh. Last Month in April they started the construction of their park in Chuchot Gaongma, Leh. To continue the project and finish the construction, rescue we now need your support.
The funds will be utilize to Design the park and in construction.
