The Blind Lead Trust is poised to be a catalyst for change in the lives of visually impaired individuals in Meghalaya. By establishing HopeMade, a social enterprise focused on manufacturing and marketing of products, we aim to address the critical gap in employment opportunities for this marginalized community.  

Our immediate goal is to secure initial funding to operationalize a small-scale manufacturing unit, creating jobs and fostering economic independence. However, our ultimate vision extends beyond employment. We aspire to build a self-sustaining organization that empowers individuals with disabilities through skill development and entrepreneurship. To achieve this, we advocate establishing a dedicated training center in Meghalaya, which is a crucial step towards creating a truly inclusive society.
