A Study on Samlik is a self-funded academic venture by the students of the Dept. of Mass Communication, Sikkim University in an effort to understand some of the communication problems of Samlik village (located about 20kms from Gangtok) and to bring about practical solutions for them. Survey conducted by the students revealed the lack of basic computer literacy among the youths of Samlik.
We ask for your generous contribution so that we can build a Public Service Center with a minimum of two computers with internet connectivity at Samlik so that the villagers, especially the students may utilise Computers to further benefit their academic requirements in this hour of pandemic restrictions.
