My father underwent an open skull surgery when he fell unconscious following the rupture of blood vessels in the brain due to High Blood pressure. He is currently in ICU on a ventilator post-surgery and has not regained consciousness yet. He is expected to be in ICU undergoing the prescribed post-surgery treatment until he gets normalized.

As on date, the medical charges have gone up to 10 Lakhs apart from the regular post-surgery treatment charges of Rs. 80,000 per day on an average until he recovers fully.
