My name is Bevinda Collaco and I am trying to raise funds for my brother Thomas Dias who is 76 years old. Thomas Dias lives in Mumbai, Maharashtra with our older sister. They are both currently retired.
Thomas Dias was admitted with an intracranial hematoma to Holy Family Hospital, Bandra, Mumbai, Maharashtra.
An emergency craniectomy was performed on him by a brilliant surgeon Dr Maruti Pujeri.
Three weeks later his skull bone flap was reattached in a successful craniectomy by the same surgeon.
Thomas has spent 54 days in the ICU and HDU of a truly wonderful hospital - Holy Family Hospital Bandra.
He can speak and sing again. He needs intensive physiotherapy and he is willing and eager to do all that is asked if him. He is now attempting to walk independently.
Until now, We've spent about Rs.1100,000. We've arranged the amount from savings & loans and financial help from all of you through Milaap.
