“The Joy of Giving”. This feeling takes a new meaning in the face of the unprecedented consequences of Covid 19. Although, difficult to believe many a times but it is through adversity we find strength - we can be our own strength or be the strength for others. At present, life is challenging and uncertain but we can always be that little joy to someone or share a little of someone's burden or put a little smile on someone's face with our thoughtful words and actions. Be it few or many, be it small or big - our every word and action will always make a big difference.

Let us celebrate “the Joy of Giving” and also the birthday of Mr Min
Kyunghoon - the amazing melodious vocalist of South Korean rock band BUZZ - on 6th October. He is one of the most talented, sweetest, innocent, funny and thoughtful celebrities around. My birthday also falls on the first week of October and it is pretty incredible to share my birthday week with Mr Min Kyunghoon who is someone I look up to.

This fundraiser is to support the causes and encourage the works, activities and projects the NGO - Goonj.. a voice, an effort, has done over the years and continues to do so now. Goonj is holding their project "Daan Utsav" from 02-08 October 2020. This event held every year celebrates “the joy of giving and the spirit of sharing”  and focuses on "the kindness humankind is capable of" and the year 2020 is no different!! However, this year the need for monetary and material resources have increased manifolds across India due to Covid 19, along with the cyclones and floods hitting us. There is an urgent requirement for clothes, woolens, blankets, dry ration, school material, toys, utensils, usable electronic devices (mobiles, laptops, computers).  
 
Please help me to celebrate birthdays more meaningfully. Please help me so that we can all come together to lift up spirits of the many lives that have been affected in 2020, through the works and efforts of Goonj. I hope you can join me to be the voice and the effort, "We Need Now"!
