Hello Everyone,

We are a group of individuals who are organising a JAM (Just a minute) in order to raise funds for the transgender community during these troubling times.

We have collaborated with Nila, who is a social activist working towards improving the well being and welfare of the Transgender community in Chennai.

A small note from Nila:

During these testing times, I took the initiative to facilitate provisions for 1000 individuals in Chennai. Being a transgender myself, I can fully understand the pain my community would go through to earn their bread at this moment. Most of the community have been daily wage earners and they have lost their livelihoods because of the lockdown. It is difficult to sustain this lifestyle and our community does require your support to get through this.
So far, we have raised a lakh and forty thousand through this platform and we still have a long way to go. It is vital to raise at least 6 lakhs to achieve our goal of providing for a 1000 people. I sincerely request you to contribute to your capacity for this cause.
