The Supreme Court of India overwhelmingly overturned a colonial-era ban on gay sex in September 2018, to the joy of the country's LGBT community. It was a significant occasion for LGBT rights because it not only ruled that LGBT Indians have full constitutional protections but also overturned a residue of British oppression. 

This was a wonderful victory, but it also highlights how much work needs to be done in the rest of the world to repeal outdated and oppressive anti-gay laws. It does not necessarily mean that LGBT persons in India are entirely free or regarded as equal among their fellow citizens.

Many people still believe the judgment was erroneous and are unaware of the explanations why the LGBTQ community is legitimate, therefore we are here to educate them about the same! 

We will also educate younger generation who is aware of the existence of the LGBTQ community but seem to be unclear about its interpretation.

By hosting workshops and camps and enlisting volunteers, Sabr Foundation aims to increase public awareness of the issue and reach as many people as possible.

Mobilization by Volunteers (7-10) 

Rs.2,000 per day x 4 workshops (per month) = Rs.8,000.
40-48 workshops x 12 months = Rs.96,000.
40-48 sessions in 10 different areas in Mumbai = Rs.9,60,000.
