The first and second world war was fought in two fronts and in several theatre around the Globe. But at present, the world is midst of a war with the invisible, humanity is struggling in all fronts. While spirit of 130 crore Indians held high during starting weeks of year 2020 to achieve Dr. A.P.J. Abdul kalam’s vision of developed India,Corona virus originated from china blanketed the world. The covid-19 pandemic, shown the world irrespective of class, ethnicity and culture, humanity is always under the wrath of mother nature. We too without retreating started battling against the pandemic by staying in our home to break the chain. But unfortunately due to lockdown economy struck bad and problems related to it skyrocketed. We came across many sorrowful events past months. People who quench their thirst and hunger by means of daily earnings affected severely during this lockdown. Guest labours forced to walk 1000+ kms from their work place to their native homes.

The fight against this invisible foe is not concluded until the last person affected is cured. By the mean time we should not lose our morale and hope of better future. For each century our big blue planet experienced a pandemic and overcame it as the last struck the earth exactly a century ago, the Spanish flu (1920). With the same spirit and blessings from our forefathers we should reach out the severely affected people, help them, encourage them and motivate them for a better life.

To tackle the problem of hunger of marginalised people, young minds of ROTRACT IKONS of Coimbatore district under leadership of Rtr. Muskan Mehta, decided to starta campaign under the title of “THE REVOLUTION”. The main goal of this ‘Revolution’ is provide food to the people who live in hunger for a period of twelve month. We will reach out the people directly, two times a month and provide them a good quality food and other needful. We started a change, opened a new theatre to battle the
pandemic with a war cry “Namakku naame, Nalai namathe”, means “We help each other, Tomorrow is wholly ours”.
In this long march, we urge you to join us to be a part of our revolution and revolt against hunger. We request you to contribute us to reach out more needy people. The minimum amount you can contribute is Rs.40/- (price of a meal for one person). The more, the merrier. A forty rupees can’t afford a luxury. But it can satisfy a person’s hunger.

Any modes of fund transfer are available, including bank transfer. 100% transparency is promised and as a token of appreciation, a pamphlet with your picture and name is attached to the meals you contribute. As a evidence of our work, photograph of serving the meal will be sent via whatsapp. Please contribute to our good willing effort in this difficult time and take part in our progress of eradicating hunger.
