Greetings from THE NRB!!! Hope you and your family are doing well.
NRB NEEDS YOUR HELP!!!
Everyone has been affected in some or the other way due to this pandemic. Doctors are tired, pressure has in creased on police department to maintain the city, you and I are working from home between the small walls for our room… NRB is losing its DEN. Den is a safe space for all the NRBians, we call it home.
What is NRB you ask? THE NRB a creative house based in Hyderabad. By creative house we mean we have many different versatile group-like musical bands, dance groups, drama team, art club, book club etc. We have 200+ active members. You can check our Instagram page @the_nations_rock_beat.
We mostly depend on the income that we get from live performances that we do in cafes, hotels, public meetings etc. and by selling the work done by our clubs in and around Hyderabad. Now because of the current situations we are struggling to maintain our creative space we call DEN. Den is our most recent investment to make sure that we can get all the creative and struggling artists under one roof to practice on developing their individual and team skills.
Den is not only for practice, but our future plan was to use it as a space to organize events like standup gigs, roof top jams and make it into a professional office space for people to go and work. Of course, it was a plan for the future but now that we don’t have a regular income and we are struggling to sustain our den. We are losing our safe space which is meant to explore the world of creativity and we are looking for people to support us. We really want to get back to doing what we do best and for that this place plays a very important role.
We are looking to raise funds to sustain our den and hoping that things will get back to normal.
We are also having a jamming session in our own den. We will be streaming the session live on 26th June 2021 from 6:30 PM to 8 PM. Follow @the_nations_rock_beat on Instagram and join us.
