Raahi is a Karnataka-based public charitable non-profit trust that was co-founded on 13th August 2018 by nine people from a range of socio-political backgrounds to support persons from marginalized sexualities and gender identities in times of crisis in a streamlined and systematic manner.
Our work caters to the needs of persons marginalized on the basis of gender identity and sexual orientation, with special focus on the issues and needs of trans men and partners of trans men, queer, lesbian and bisexual women, gender non-conforming and non-binary persons, and persons with intersex variations. While we are based in Bangalore, we handle cases of community members who have been forced to migrate from other states.
Raahi turns 5 this year! At this juncture, we invite donations to help us build a corpus fund that will help sustain our work in the long run without interruption. Your contribution will also be used to meet some other requirements including rent, maintenance and other office running costs.
