The good food project started with a thought; to bring relief, hot home cooked meals to our frontline, and often overlooked crematorium/cemetery workers. Over the last few weeks, through our last fundraiser, and your support, we managed to deliver 20,000 meals, 25,000 ORS/lassi/juices, 12,000 masks and more than 400litres of sanitizer to over 25 crematoriums and burial grounds across 20 days in Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad and Noida.
This has encouraged us to further our initiative, and take it to other parts of the country, specially our hinterland, where resources and help are hard to come by. We’d want to reach out to low-income individuals and families who have lost livelihoods, sole earning family members, and significant chunks of their wages. They already form the lowest rung of India's socio-economic fabric.
Help us help them! We will ensure through rigid accountability that they receive the resources that they need.
Thank you for your generosity.
