Mr Thankachan is an old family friend. A driver by profession, he worked tirelessly, often pushing himself beyond his limits to provide for his wife and 3 sons. His friends and colleagues can vouch for his honesty, integrity and kindness. Unfortunately, he is in a difficult situation where his well being depends on the kindness of others.

Mr Thankachan started experiencing kidney issues a few years ago and has been taking medication since, but his situation has steadily deteriorated, eroding his finances and curtailing his ability to continue working, as he required frequent dialysis. He has used up all of his savings, sold his assets and borrowed from relatives to get so far, but his last sources of finances have dried up. His sons are supporting him to the best of their ability, and his wife is the donor for his kidney.
