Teja is an IT professional, based out of Hyderabad. Teja is a sole earning person in his family with a single mother, elder sister and a niece, aged 6, to take care of.

Teja has tested positive for Covid-19 on 17thApril2021. On doctor's consultation, further tests were done and it was found that he had sever lung infection. With CT score 19/40 and SpO2 level 88% and falling, he was admitted to AED Hospital, Kukatpally, Hyderabad on 22nd April 2021 for constant Oxygen support.

On 26thApril, his situation further deteriorated, and on doctor's advice, he has been shifted to intensive care at Pragnya hosptial, Medchal, Hyderabad (which had ICU beds/ventilators available then).  He is currently being treated at Pragnya Hospital using BiPAP therapy(no-invasive treatment) and is being constantly monitored. Fortunately, Teja is responding to the treatment, but his oxygen levels still keep fluctuating.

Having spent a week already in the hospital, 4 of these days in intensive care (ICU), Teja's family has exhausted all of their savings and have also taken loan from all possible sources. Friends and extended family have also supported by contributing at crucial stages. Total cost of the treatment has exceeded 6 Lakh rupees already.

Since his condition is not yet stable and it is still uncertain for how long he might have to be under supervision and the current expenditure for the treatment is exceeding 1Lakh Rupees per day, we are reaching out through Milaap for financial help. The funds gathered from Milaap shall be utilized entirely for Teja's hospital treatment, medicines and other related expenses only.
