This August 31 - September 7, Team India Grass will take on the world at the 2024 World Ultimate Championships in Gold Coast, Australia. These incredible athletes have poured their hearts and souls into training to represent our nation on this global stage. For many of them, this journey has been a testament to their unwavering dedication, overcoming financial hurdles and personal sacrifices to pursue their passion for ultimate frisbee.
*Team India Grass for WUC 24 is a self-funded campaign and we as a team are creating this fundraiser to help reduce the overall costs for the entire team.
What does a self-funded campaign mean?
A self-funded campaign means the players commit to raising funds for themselves throughout the campaign. In addition to training for the tournament, many of our players also do additional things to fundraise for themselves like working extra jobs, seeking personal sponsorships and running personal fundraisers to support their cost for the whole campaign.
Why do we need your support now?
The financial burden of a World Championship in Australia is immense with the high cost of living. Also with the team comprising of players from 8 different cities and towns across the country, our training costs to meet once a month and train together become extremely high.
Though we have managed to cover most of our expenses we still need a final push to reach our goal. Your support can make a big difference in helping us get there.
