Tapan Bagdi from Raiganj has a small shop.He is a tea vendor and caters to the government servants in the area.however he fell severly ill on 10 th May and upon admitting to Raiganj District Hospital he was referred to the North Bengal Neurocentre on the same day.Thereafter he was diagonised with acute pneumonia and lung infection and promptly shifted to Intensive Care Unit.His condition improved after he was admitted in the ICU and was in ventilation for Ten days.Now he is well,though treatment and regular checkup is going on.As may be evident from his economic background,he is not from a well-off family and his family is in a debt burden and face imminent bankruptcy.He has to sell all his belongings if he cannot mop up the amount he spent.
