Mr. TVS Prasad (58 years) is the head of a lovely family living in Chennai. He woke up early in the morning of Dec 3, 2020, and experienced chronic contraction involving lower limbs, motor seizures, and impaired awareness. He underwent an emergency CT brain scan, which showed a large hematoma involving the right parieto occipital regional, with mass effect and midline shift. The neurosurgeon advised immediate surgical depression of the hematoma. After counseling with the family, right side brain surgery was performed the same day. After great care at the hospital, he was discharged on 12/23/2020.
Due to the nature of the treatment performed and the post-acute care needs, he received care from P&G nursing home in Vadapalani, Chennai. Then, he suddenly developed complications requiring cleaning up of lungs, requiring re-admission. He was admitted to Vijaya Hospital. He is expected to get care here for another month before recovering the ability to talk and eat. Mobility on the left side is still impaired. He also needs to do a follow-up surgery on the brain.
His wife Mrs. Parvathi is struggling to pay the medical bills. With the help of friends and family and other kind-hearted people, she was able to manage so far, but the bills have far exceeded what she could arrange. Well-wishers of Mr. Prasad's family helped set up this account to help with paying for the medical care needed for recovery.
Please pray and donate any amount to help Mr. Prasad's family at this critical time.
