My father Syed Alam, 69 years old, suffered a massive stroke followed by a brain hemorrhage on the night of 1st June 2020 and it turned our whole lives upside down. He comes from a small village in UP with a very humble beginning, lost his mother at a young age and has worked hard for everything in his life. His determination and hard work led him to IIT Kharagpur and then IIM Ahmedabad. He retired at 60 to spend time with his family. He helped and trained many people from his village in improving their employability. He regularly donated in community, participated in social causes and philanthropic activities to help the needy and is a well known personality in the local community for his generosity and helping nature.
June 2020 was the thick of lockdown and we were not able to get medical aid in time due to unavailability of ICU beds in hospitals. He had brain surgery after which he slipped into a coma and is currently at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital Mumbai for their neuro rehabilitation program since then. We have exhausted his life's savings and have had to sell our assets to aid his recovery. He has always been a determined person having unshakable faith in God and has fought for his family always wherever required.
His recovery is slow and we have run out of funds. Till date we have already spent 80 lakh by selling all our assets and exhausting our savings. However, we still need to continue his treatment for the next 8-12 months till he gets discharged from the hospital. Our aim is to raise 50 lakh for his ongoing treatment and recovery.
We need your help to keep fighting for him, so that we would take him back home walking. Urging you to please donate how much ever is possible.
