    Syam Kumar S. S.

    from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala

He was born with three kidneys, none of which functioned properly, and had his first surgery at just 19 days old. At the age of three, doctors discovered a tumor in his spine, and by the time he turned eight, Shyam had to undergo a life-changing leg amputation, leaving him 83% disabled.

For many, this would have been the end of dreams. But for Shyam, it was only the beginning.

After receiving a life-saving kidney transplant from his mother, Shyam slowly began rebuilding his life. At 13 years old, he started cycling with just one leg. Soon, he began dreaming of something even bigger to fly.

Despite facing nearly 140 rejections, Shyam never gave up. When he finally got a chance to skydive, he proved the impossible was possible.

He went on to be recognized by the International Book of Records as the world’s youngest amputee skydiver, successfully jumping from 13,000 feet with one leg. He is also the youngest amputee paragliding pilot in the world.

Today, Shyam has received an international invitation to represent India at the 2026 World Series and World Cup of International Indoor Para Skydiving in France. Remarkably, he is the only Asian athlete selected for this championship.

However, reaching this stage requires specialized wind-tunnel training, travel, equipment, and medical support.

The total cost for training and participation is ₹50,00,000, and we have less than a month to prepare for training, travel, and visa formalities.

Shyam has already overcome surgeries, disability, and countless rejections to reach here.

Now, the only barrier left should not be money.

Your support will help Shyam represent India on the global stage and prove to the world that disability is not inability.

Every contribution, big or small, will bring him one step closer to flying for India.

Please donate and share this campaign to help Shyam reach the world championship.
