Swati Kakara, a underprivileged village girl, having just high school education dreamed about representing India in Open World Pole Sports Championship, just after viewing a video, about the sport. Due to terrible financial conditions, she couldn't afford to get professional  training for the championship, so just by viewing videos and practicing on the drumstick tree,within 8 months of self-paced training , she qualified for regional, going through state,national, she represented India at The Open World Pole Sports Championship held in South Korea  and secured First rank and Gold medal on 18 May 2019. Now, she has been qualified for World Pole Sports Championship to be held in Canada on 3 October 2019,where 400 athletes from all over the world would compete to win the title of "World Pole Sports Champion(In Senior Women Category)".
