DONATE generously to help us scale up our operations and create alternate sources of income (other than agriculture) in every household in the villages so that they do not have to migrate to the cities in search of livelihood opportunities.
NeevJivan Foundation is a registered Section 8 Company working in the area of Skill Development & Vocational Training for our fellow citizens in rural India.
Our primary objective is to create opportunities for sustainable livelihood for the tribal women and youth in their respective villages so that they don’t have to migrate to the cities in search of greener pastures.
We are currently working in Jawhar & Dahanu talukas in the Palghar district of Maharashtra and have trained over 50 Self Help Groups comprising of tribal women and work with many more SHGs is in progress.
We are also working with individuals (mainly tribal women & youth) to help them become self reliant in the long run.
Over the last 2 years, we have sharpened our model of operation and adopt the following approach towards our work -
1. Training on vocational skills #
2. Module to cover basics of Entrepreneurship
3. Facilitate access to seed funds ##
4. Support them for a period of at least 6 months to stabilize their operations
# We cover over 15 vocations Vocations covered the training sessions - Poultry Farming, Goat Rearing, Strawberry cultivation, Mushroom Cultivation, Vermi-composting, Sanitary Pad making, Patrawali making, Masala making, Papad making, Pickle making, Paper bag making, Agarbathi making, Candle making, Bakery, Tailoring and many more.
These vocational training are delivered through our Knowledge Partners M/s. Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) and M/s. Khadi Village Industries Commission (KVIC).
## We facilitate access to funds through Mudra Loans, Government Schemes, Local MFI’s, CSR Initiatives, etc.
