Kalpana is a 13-year-old girl studying in 9th Grade at Rambhata Government School. Her father works at a general store and her mother is a housemaid.  Kalpana's parents did not allow her to play on the community ground and she spent her time hanging out with friends near the home. However,  now she plays on the ground with both boys and girls.

Kalpana tells “Usually, teachers get irritated with children after a few days, however, Monkey Sports' Sir listens and talks to us patiently. I really like the Frisbee game and it has helped me to build leadership skills such as resolving conflict. "
