"Ever since I can remember Akka has always been in and out of the hospital. Doctors were saying that her blood wouldn't work properly to stop bleeding.
This time however was different. Akka got very sick and couldn't breathe. Slowly it got worse and she had to stay in the ICU for many weeks. I haven't seen her since then, it's been almost 3 months. Two weeks back she was finally well enough to speak to me on the phone. She told me that she was a little better but needed a machine to help her breathe very often, sometimes throughout the night.
