My name is Pushpa, and I never imagined I would be writing something like this.
On March 1st, my husband, KV Raja Susheel Chandra Shekar, met with a devastating accident while traveling from Hyderabad to Bangalore for work. In a matter of moments, our lives turned upside down.
He was rescued by the police and first taken to a hospital in Kurnool. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was shifted to KIMS Hospital, Secunderabad the very next day.
My husband suffered multiple life-threatening injuries:
But just three days later, on March 13th, he had to be rushed back to the hospital due to severe complications. Doctors diagnosed a serious fungal infection, which further worsened his condition.
Since then, he has undergone four more surgeries and continues to fight every single day. Seeing him in pain and struggling is something I cannot put into words.
Our Struggle
In just a few days, our entire life savings have been drained:

- A major fracture in his right shoulder
But just three days later, on March 13th, he had to be rushed back to the hospital due to severe complications. Doctors diagnosed a serious fungal infection, which further worsened his condition.
Since then, he has undergone four more surgeries and continues to fight every single day. Seeing him in pain and struggling is something I cannot put into words.
Our Struggle
In just a few days, our entire life savings have been drained:
- ₹5.5 lakhs for initial treatment
- ₹17 lakhs for the next phase of hospitalization
- Over ₹25 lakhs already spent
- Estimated cost per month – 5 Lakhs for recovery for the next 6 months
Every day brings new challenges—emotionally and financially.
