I as a single daughter, am raising funds for my father, who is currently fighting for his life in the ICU. Our family is going through one of the most difficult and heartbreaking times, and we humbly reach out for your support.
My father has been in the ICU for over 50 days, battling a critical illness and surviving on life support. He has shown immense strength throughout this journey, but recently, his condition has become even more complicated.
A few days ago, he suffered a perforation in his large intestine, which required immediate emergency surgery. During the procedure, there was significant blood loss of around 1000 ml. As part of the life-saving treatment, doctors had to place two drainage lines, and due to the severity of the condition, the intestine has been externally connected to the skin (stoma) to aid recovery.
It has now been over 36 hours since the surgery, and his condition remains critical.
In addition to this, his kidneys are not functioning properly, and he is currently undergoing dialysis along with special filtration procedures to control inflammation and stabilize his body. He continues to remain in the ICU under constant monitoring, with multiple specialists involved in his care.
This prolonged treatment has taken an enormous emotional and financial toll on our family. So far, we have already spent around ₹70,00,000 on ICU care, ECMO support, surgery, dialysis, and other medical expenses. We have managed these costs through our savings and loans, but the expenses continue to rise every single day.
At this point, we urgently need ₹35,00,000 more to continue his treatment and give him a fighting chance at recovery.
