Surendra Prabhu B found out that he was suffering from Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (a type of Blood Cancer) on May 23, 2008, at the very young age of 17. Initially, he was treated for this at KMC Manipal Hospital and Haematology Center, Dadar-Mumbai through reputed Dr. Mohan B Agarwal until 2019. Currently, he is being treated at the A.J Hospital, Mangalore, and by Dr. Rachan Shetty for chemotherapy. Already family has spent approx. Rs 35-40 Lakhs towards the treatment for the past 13 years. And most of the money has been obtained through loans.
Leukemia has advanced and has reached a very serious stage. Dr. Sharath Damodar from a reputed Hospital has advised that Bone Marrow Transplant is the right course of action and can help with long-term relief. The doctor has also expressed confidence that the bone marrow transplant treatment can help provide relief and can save Surendra’s life. The doctor has also provided an estimation of how much the treatment will cost the family.
Being debt-ridden and out of money for even living a life, the family is now looking for help in saving Surendra from you.
