Dear Donors,

Sumeer Kumar (age 45) primarily a fitness consultant had an acute renal failure and was on dialysis since 2012. He under went a cadaver kidney transplant in 2015. However this  transplant failed in 2018 ( reasons are unknown), and he had to restart his dialysis since January 2019. His second kidney transplant was scheduled on 7th of April (wife as the donor). Mean while, on the 19th of March while undergoing regular dialysis he had an aortic dissection - type B and had to undergo an Emergency Open Heart Surgery at the Apollo Hospital Greams Road on the 20th of March, 2019. Post his recovery from this surgery which is approximately 2 months from now the kidney transplant can be rescheduled.  

Estimated bill amount by the hospital is around Rs.23 lakhs. 15 lakhs for the Open Heart Surgery and recuperation and Rs 8 Lakhs for the Transplant surgery.

We as Sumeer's family are doing all we can to raise the funds needed. We also want to reach out to his close friends and associates for pitching in at this time of need with whatever amount is possible by you.
