We, a group of like-minded people - professionals, and entrepreneurs along with Kalpataru, a reputed NGO have got together to provide medical aid, food and basic rations to those who have been badly affected by COVID in India.

In 2020, we were able to mobilize enough funds to provide rations to 8,000+ people across 10 states, an equivalent of 4 lakhs meals for up to 2 months during the first COVID lockdown. We had supported clusters of poor people and migrant workers across India through a network of local volunteers.

With the second wave of COVID hitting India hard, we have restarted our efforts to help people across the country.

1. We are procuring oxygen concentrators and other medical equipment/ supplies for small charitable hospitals for use by COVID patients.

A typical 10L oxygen concentrator (93% flow rate) can cost between INR 80,000 - 1,00,000 (USD 900 - 1,)300 including shipping costs. It can save the lives of 8-10 people every week.

2. We are providing daily rations/ food packets to those economically impacted by the COVID - daily wagers, migrants, roadside vendors, auto drivers, etc.

A contribution of just INR 550 (USD 7) can feed a family of 4-5 people for 1 week. A typical kit consists of the following items:

Rice 4kg - Rs. 180
Atta 3kg - Rs. 120
Dal 1/2kg - Rs. 65
Sugar 1/2kg - Rs. 22
Oil 1/2ltr - Rs. 50
Onions 3/4kg - Rs. 30
Potato 3/4k  - Rs. 30
Chilli Powder 100g - Rs. 17
Haldi powder 100g - Rs. 10
Flattened Rice  1kg - Rs. 20
Packaging - Rs. 6

Total - Rs. 550
+ Biscuits - Rs. 20 (for children)
+ Milk/ Milk Powder - Rs. 40 (for children)
+ Masks and Sanitizers (if required)

We are helping people across India - from Bangalore, Asansol (WB), Chitradurga (Karnataka), Midnapore (WB), Murshidabad (WB), Mumbai, Delhi, and Kolkata.

We would appreciate your support and contribution towards this cause. Thank you.
