Help Subham Undergo Bone Marrow Transplant And Fight Cancer

Few words from Subham : I am a 21 year old medical student currently from India, studying in Burdwan Medical College, West Bengal. I suffer from a rare form of blood cancer of the type Early T Precursor Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ETP ALL). I have been in treatment since February 2016.
I'm proud to say that I've passed both my medical board exams on my first attempt despite the gruelling chemotherapy schedule, and I was hopeful that I would be able to fight off the disease and fulfil my dream of being a doctor. However, that dream has gotten a lot harder because the cancer has relapsed despite the best efforts of my doctors and myself.
Now the only way I have out is a bone marrow transplant which is life-saving, but very, very expensive. The past couple of years have taken a toll on our family, and the 50,00,000 further required is beyond our means.
I request you to spare a bit of money, and good wishes so I can get the better of this dreaded disease and grow up and help others fight off diseases of their own. Thank you.

Subham passed away in the early hours of the 15th of September, at 2:43 am.
I want to reach out and thank every last person who took up arms for his cause, who reached out and supported him, who sent him love and blessings and the best of wishes. All the funds for the campaign have been withdrawn, and we are stopping the campaign.
None of it was in vain. You added light and you added days to the life of one of the best people I have known and will ever know. I don't have words, so I'll go with the simple ones:
Thank you.

This is Upasya, Subham's friend writing on his behalf. After a month long battle against an aggressive infection, that required Subham to be on ventilation even, he is finally out of danger. He has been discharged from the ICU of Tata Medical Centre, Kolkata and shifted to the general ward for complete recovery. He is doing well now and would soon get back to interacting with his friends and well wishers. This past one month has been a very tough time for his family and close ones. We have been receiving good wishes, texts, calls from all around the world with everyone hoping for his speedy recovery. Subham is really moved by the love showered upon him by you all in his trying times and cannot thank you enough. But a long road lies ahead. After his full recovery from this ordeal, the doctors will resume chemotherapy and go ahead with the bone marrow transplant once he is ready. This past one month of hospitalization and treatment has drained us financially; and the goal that we had almost reached in collecting funds seems a distant one again. We have to collect another 20 lacs of rupees before Subham's transplant. So I appeal to one and all to please contribute and share this campaign as much as possible so that more people can come forward to help Subham get successfully treated and go on to become a good doctor himself, in future. Thanks again for your continued support.

Dear Supporters,
Thank you for the wonderful support. There has been some confusion on the total amount of funds raised and I will be more than happy to clear them. We raised funds from various sources and we thought that it will be fair only to share this information with all the donors so we would like to display it here on the platform.
As his health has been unstable for the last few days the doctors have advised a more intensive treatment which has shot up the costs to ₹50 lakhs and we have updated the same.
I would request you to share this campaign further with your friends and family to help us in raising funds faster towards his treatment. Please do pray for his health and speedy recovery. Will keep you posted.
