Lets BREAK the cycle of suicidal tendencies of FARMERS of Maharashtra.
It is the norm for their children to follow in their father’s footsteps when choosing their careers. But unfortunately, due to the droughts and floods in the region, it almost always perpetuates the cycle of poverty and loss.
Career Transformers will be providing its career counselling services to 70 needy children of farmers & labourers of Ajara Village of Kolhapur, Maharashtra (Vyankatrao High school and Junior College) as part of this pilot project. The children will receive 4 Hours of Psychometric & Cognitive career decision making tests, 2 hours of analysis and 3 hours of individual counselling sessions through Career Transformer's (Private Company) 27 days project with the help of 4 qualified consultants. The career decision making tests would consist of 17 international paper-pencil tests adapted as per Indian standards, which are scientifically administered, scored and interpreted accurately on lakhs of students.
Your donation towards Rs.6,99,390.00 is supporting these skilled and intelligent students from economically challenged backgrounds who are struggling to make ends meet. Lets unitedly stop the loss of individual skills and accordingly the loss of the nation.
The inception of this project has been facilitated by decorated fire officer and alumnus of the school, Mr. Deepak Dorugade and the principal, Mr. Suresh Khorate.
Their school has educated around 16,000 students without any educational fees.
Ajara village has other occupational opportunities which are helping others to earn daily bread and butter, in a more stable way.
Lets help the children understand their suitable occupation other than farming and choose life instead of death like their forefathers.
A humble appeal from the principal of the esteemed school, Mr. Suresh Khorate, has been attached in the documents section. A detailed cost estimate breakdown has also been attached.
