Technology plays a significant role in everyday life and has become deeply integrated into many aspects of modern society. From smartphones and computers to more complex systems like transportation networks and power grids, technology helps to improve our lives in many ways. It allows us to communicate, access information, and complete tasks more efficiently than ever before. Additionally, technology has also created new opportunities for work, education, and entertainment.

With this in mind, it becomes deeply concerning that there are whole sections of society that do not have access to these ubiquitous technological systems - with the effect of further alienating them from the rest of the population. To address this salient issue, I founded TechTalk, an educational outreach initiative, that aims to educate people from underserved communities about the many boons technology can have in their daily lives. Thus far, this project includes an original eight-part curriculum on the domains that technological intervention can affect, an activity book to deliver this information to younger audiences, and workshop sessions covering internet safety.

I will also be conducting workshop sessions with the students of registered Delhi-NGO, the Prajna Foundation, to deliver this information in a fun, informative, and productive manner. Additionally, this fundraiser, to be conducted in collaboration with the Prajna Foundation, will be actioned toward furthering this very necessary instructional mission. The goal amount for the fundraiser will be INR 50,000, the proceeds from which will be donated to the Prajna Foundation toward their admirable work in the domains of education, and digital literacy.
