In March 2020 when India started the lockdown, a lot of us did not realize what we were headed into. Over the past year, India has seen a clear lack of leaders, people who can take decisions, analyze data, research on what happens next, and plan massive scale operations to help the country.

We have all realized this, and have had one conversation or the other, our education system needs an overhaul, we need to teach children how to solve problems, how to collaborate with the world, and how to work with solutions so that India does not see a day like this again. While we do not have a shortage of engineers, or scientists, even doctors - but we have not enabled them with skills to solve problems, we have made them people who can do a job - nothing more.

Your Donation will go towards opening up 36 STEM Lab / Maker Spaces across India that focuses on teaching 21st Century Skills of Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Creativity and Communication so that our Children, specially those impacted by Covid-19 have access to World Class Education and a Chance at Leadership in the Future.

Why STEM?
Over time we have seen Students who have attended our sessions in Schools, Colleges and Universities with our Project Based Learning Approach using STEM Principles have not only retained what they learnt better, but have been able to apply this knowledge to real life problem solving.

What kind of Projects have we seen?
From creating low cost prosthetic hands, to creating the next generation of furniture fit for use in India, we have seen some diverse solutions come out of our Curriculum and Approach.

Where will these Learning Spaces Be?
We are proposing to setup our STEM Maker Spaces one in Each State of the Country, planning a target of 36 Such spaces across India, giving access to school children, and teachers to learn skills that will ensure they are employable in the future, and our leaders in their own respect.

Why Should You Donate?
To ensure that children have access to a world class learning environment, facilitators who can help them learn how to collaborate, be creative, solve problems and build critical thinking skills, we need to take our education down to the villages. We are proposing to setup our STEM Maker Spaces one in Each State of the Country, planning a target of 36 Such spaces across India, giving access to school children, and teachers to learn skills that will ensure they are employable in the future, and our leaders in their own respect.

What will the Money be used for?
A Small donation can go a long way, your donation helps us build Project Based Learning Environments, rich with Today's technology and the best facilitators, to ensure the children have a chance at becoming a Leader.

Who are we
MakersBox Innovations Pvt. Ltd. (MBX) was launched in 2015 to provide STEM education to students with private resources. Over the years, it has generated a revenue of Rs. 3 Crores and successfully trained 10,000 students and developed many products, processes along the way. Today, it has developed a curriculum and scalable infrastructure to provide the same to all students. In addition, this entity supported Government initiative in Karnal, Haryana to setup a Lab 2015 till 2016 as a proof of concept how the same ideas can be used effectively in public not-for-profit space.
Based on the success of this enterprise and opening of the market and opportunities, the promoters setup MakersBox Foundation (ORG), a non-profit corporation in India registration number U80100DL2019NPL354930 in December 2019.
