Super Solar was founded in 2023 as a response to two urgent crises – the glaring inequality in energy access and the accelerating climate emergency. We believe sustainable infrastructure shouldn't be a privilege reserved for a few but a fundamental right that should be accessible to all.

With this in mind, as a first step to the project, we drafted the Super Solar Guide: an educational resource targeted at that delves into actionable steps for a sustainable life and discusses the role of renewable energy in the environmental movement. We’ve also conducted interactive workshops at the KGSS school in Mumbai, where, through structured sessions, children were introduced to concepts of sustainability and green energy. 

The Super Solar Seed Fundraiser, in collaboration with Rajasthani Sammelan Educational Trust, aims to take critical steps toward energy justice. The funds raised will be directly used for the installation of solar panels at school campuses, ensuring uninterrupted electricity for students, and a step towards climate resilience that can be replicated across government schools in India. 

Our goal is to raise INR 2,00,000 to contribute towards the cost of procurement, transportation and installation of solar panels. Every donation will go towards building spaces that promote a green future and empower communities and neighbourhoods, uniting them in environmental efforts and lighting up the world of young students.
