We run a shelter for stray dogs and cats in Kolkata and one rehabilitation center for senior and specially abled furkids in Burdwan.
We have been looking after dogs cats birds since almost 12 years now.
We daily feed shelter animals and community animals , almost 700+ meals are served daily at our two shelters and various locations.
We feed them rice dal meat and dog food mixed together and in some places, we only give dog food.Our monthly need isRice almost 1800kgs and Dry Dog food almost 450kgs.

Along with feeding we take care of their treatment part, vaccination and deworming and also conduct Spaying Drives every month to reduce human animal conflict.
After running a shelter and treatment of so many needy dogs it becomes difficult to carry on mass feeding and spot treatment daily so we need support for that.
Expenses are rising and post covid donations have reduced a lot. We don't get any help from the Government Or any corporate funds to carry on these activities, whatever we raise is only from social media.

I left my CA internship to run this shelter better and give all my time to these voiceless kids as without proper supervision it wasnt working well. My husband is an electronic engineer who also left his full-time job just to devote more time to the shelter as I can't alone maintain all three things n needed genuine support so now he only works part-time just to run our family, we have given our heart blood and soul for these two shelters , we have given away our entire house and all the land we have in kolkata to build this shelter for treatment, all these just so that these kids can stay a little better.
