About Us:
At Welfare for Animals In Goa : WAG, our mission is to care for the animals that often go unnoticed – the abandoned, injured, and helpless stray dogs, cats, cows, and other animals. Founded in 2005 by Atul Sarin and a group of passionate animal lovers, we have grown from a small NGO focused on animal welfare to a full-fledged Cattle Sanctuary and Veterinary Rescue Clinic. Every year, we rescue and provide shelter, food, medical care, and love to countless animals in need.
We focus on adoptions, sterilizations, and rescue operations for injured animals. Our clinic provides a safe haven for stray dogs and cats, many of whom have faced the harshest conditions on the streets of Goa. But this monsoon, we need your help more than ever.

Our Urgent Need:
Monsoon is one of the toughest seasons for stray animals. The constant rains create unsafe conditions, leaving them struggling for food and shelter. We urgently need your support to feed, vaccinate, and sterilize the stray dogs, who are facing an alarming outbreak of distemper – a disease that is claiming the lives of many animals in our care. We need ₹500,000 to:

1. Feed Stray Dogs During the Monsoon: Food becomes scarce during the rainy season, and many stray animals struggle to find proper nutrition. We need funds to ensure that all the dogs under our care are fed regularly and can survive the harsh weather conditions.
2. Vaccinate Dogs Against Distemper: Distemper is a deadly viral disease affecting dogs in our area, and it's spreading fast. With your donation, we can vaccinate the dogs in our clinic, ensuring that they are protected from this outbreak and helping to prevent further spread.
3. Sterilize Stray Dogs: Sterilization is one of the most effective ways to reduce the stray population over time. We want to ensure that we can continue sterilizing the dogs in our community to prevent overpopulation and further suffering.

How Your Donation Makes a Difference:

• ₹5000 can feed 10 stray dogs for a week during the monsoon.
• ₹2,000 can vaccinate 4 dogs against distemper.
• ₹1,000 can fund the sterilization of 2 stray dogs, helping to prevent unwanted litters and reduce suffering in the long run.
