Hello one and all,
This is our short story.
We are two women from Chennai who feed,rescue and treat stray dogs and cats who need medical help.We have been doing this for over 3+ years and decided to start our NGO named PRANI (Protection and Rescue Animals in Need Initiative) last year.
Our rescue/treatment of animals has ranged from wounds, fractures, run over cases to critical distempers,cancerous tumors and many more. Many a time, we have spent sleepless nights even in burial grounds to bid an animal a respectable goodbye.We have been pulling this off with the help of a few vets and animal dispensaries who charge us very nominally or provide free treatment to the strays. We are extremely grateful for them!
However, we are now in a fix, where we have a lot of pending bills (from private clinics for boarding and treatments) and have spent beyond our capacity from our pockets to save the voiceless. We are in a spot where we have to halt our rescues until we clear the bills. It breaks our heart to see animals in distress that we aren't able to help because of financial constraints.
We are not much active on social media and forget to click pics/videos our rescues most of the times. I've managed to share pictures from very few of our many rescues here. We are humbly looking forward to your monetary help. Every drop counts, even your smallest donation can make a huge difference for us.Thank you so much!
