Hello My Name is Mugdha Khatri and I am from Dehradun, Uttarakhand. I am raising funds for special needs animals. I have been working for stray animals since the age of 16. In 2020 during lockdown I opened a shelter home where we rehabilitate road accident victims, cruelty victims, paralysed, blind, old, abandoned, special needs and injured dogs and cats. Here we can accommodate maximum 55 dogs and cats but the problem is currently we are accomodating 65+ dogs and cats. Now as our shelter home is over the capacity we can not rescue and rehabilitate any new dog or cat. I was well aware of this phase that's why I had taken a land (1 acre) on rent. It's been 3 months I have been paying the rent of the land but due to short of funds I am not able to complete the new shelter home construction.
This fund raiser I am creating so that basic construction can be started at new place and atleast we can shift old shelter home to new place and resume our rescue and rehabilitation operations.
