In 2015 𝐆𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐬 and his wife 𝐉𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐫𝐢 witnessed countless Orphaned, Abandoned, and impoverished children whose dreams seemed forever out of reach. These were not statistics -they were bright young minds yearning for a chance to learn and grow beyond their difficult circumstances.
𝐅𝐑𝐎𝐌 𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐓 𝐓𝐎 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒 𝐑𝐎𝐎𝐌
What started as an audacious dream required extraordinary sacrifice. Gunamay and Jayashri took to the street and parks, collecting donations coin by coin. Each rupee was not just money -it was a building block of hope, providing their unwavering belief that education could break poverty's cycle.
Their persistence caught the attention of Nandkumar Khandare,CEO of Ashok Leyland Technologies Ltd, whose generous donation enabled construction of a 3300 Sq Ft School Building. On January 9th ,2017,magic happened: 𝐍𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐊𝐔𝐌𝐀𝐑 𝐉𝐄𝐄𝐕𝐀𝐍𝐑𝐀𝐎 𝐒𝐓𝐏𝐍 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐋 opened its doors to 17 students.

What began as a single story building with 17 children has blossomed into a three -story educational haven housing over 300 students. The School grew not just in size,but in ambition. Modern Computer Labs, digital classrooms, and Science Laboratory brought possibilities these children had never imagined.
Then came the ultimate test: COVID-19. As the donation dried up in 2020, closing seemed inevitable. But for Gunamay Das,it was not an option -they Orphaned hostel children had nowhere else to go.
Once again Mr. Das returned to the street, driven by love for children who had become his family. Through compassionate organizations ,𝐒𝐓𝐏𝐍 𝐓𝐑𝐔𝐒𝐓,not only survived but extended help to the broader community, distributing essential supplies to 4,600 families during the pandemic's darkest hours.

Today Nandkumar Jeevanrao STPN High School stands as Contai Subdivision's only WBBSE affiliated English Medium Co-Educational residential School. Its modern facilities provide these children with the same quality education as their privileged urban peers -Completely Free of Cost.
Beyond buildings and technologies lies the true success : 300 young lives transformed, 300 futures rewritten. The orphan who once slept on the streets now dreams of becoming a doctor. The Abandoned child who knew only hunger now confidently solves equations. The underprivileged girl denied opportunity now stands ready to change the world.

In 2025 Gunamay Das received The Telegraph Award for his dedication to free Education for Orphaned and underprivileged children. But at 37,his reward comes daily: in bright eyes reading their first sentence, confident voices presenting in English, graduation certificates held high by those the world once forgot.

This isn't just about one school or one man's mission. It's about the profound truth that investing in a child's education doesn't just change one life - it transforms generations. These students will become teachers, doctors, engineers and leaders who will lift others up.
Every scholarship for higher education, every dress distributed before Durga Puja , every Ration pack for elderly people with no income - these acts create ripples extending far beyond what eyes can see.
The story of Nandkumar Jeevanrao STPN High School reminds us that extraordinary things happen when ordinary people refuse to accept that some children are destined for less. It proves that with determination, compassion,and community spirit,we can build bridges from despair to hope,from poverty to possibilities, from forgotten to empowered.

Problem Statement:
- Our School is the only English medium School in Khejuri and Nandigram Constituency area in West Bengal ,So you can easily judge the importance and the extent of expectations from the local community.
- We are providing free Tuition to our School students in the morning and evening.
- Number of Students are increasing every Year rapidly As we are providing Free Education and Free Food for our Children.
- Girls students are also opting Hostel facilities so that they can avail evening tuition at School but due to lack of Fund we are unable to provide separate Girls Hostel to our Students although we have completed Plastering Work and Coloring work as well as Have installed Iron Grill Work and CCTV for the safety of the Girls Students ( Has been updated in update Section) but still we need to complete Toilet, Bathroom and Electrical Works for which we need Fund.
- Need to Install Sanitary Napkin Machine immediately to provide free Sanitary napkins to our Girls students so that Girls students can maintain hygiene in rural area.
Total And Current Requirements:
We need urgent help from you as immediately we need INR 23,560,000 (In Rupees Two Crore Thirty Five Lakh Sixty Thousand Only for Two Reasons:
(1) Cost of Mid-Day Meal of our Students (Our All students get Free Mid-Day Meal at our School after their Free Tuition in the Morning at School) , Our Teacher's and Other Staff's Monthly Salary is Rs.1197794 (In Word Rupees Eleven Lakh Ninety Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Ninety Four )which becomes Rs.14373528 (In Word Rupees One Crore Forty Three Lakh Seventy Three Thousand Five Hundred Twenty Eight ) Only for One Year.To Continue the School properly we need to pay Salaries to our Staffs in time so that School runs properly.
(2) We need to complete 2nd Floor of Girls Hostel and Toilet and other necessary works at 1st Floor of Girls Hostel as well as School Campus Main Gate, Full Boundary of the School Campus for the safety of the Children immediately as Girls students also are opting Free Tuition in the Evening staying at our Hostel. In our area there are no Good English Medium Teachers so they have only option to get evening Tuition from our Teachers. As our Teachers are residential so Girls students also opting a Separate Hostel for them. But due to lack of Fund we are unable to do So. We need your urgent help to complete Girls Hostel. For That we need Rs.9187100 (In Word Rupees Ninety One Lakh Eighty Seven Thousand One Hundred )Only.
So Total we need For our School and Girls Hostel INR 23,560,000 (In Rupees Two Crore Thirty Five Lakh Sixty Thousand Only.
