My grandfather had symptoms of Jaundice and was undergoing Siddha treatment. He had increasing uneasiness and stomach ache and the Liver function test was taken to check his bilirubin rates. It had drastically increased from 4 to 13 in a matter of three days. 

On consultation with doctor, it was confirmed that it was obstructive jaundice and further USG - Abdomen and Pelvis scans were taken. It was identified with masses and then MRI and CECT were taken to locate the mass. He was identified with malignant tumor somewhere between gallbladder and pancreas. Surgery needs to be done immediately by removing gallbladder stones to remove jaundice through laproscopy and then remove the malignant tumour.
