Sarvbhog is an initiative where we provide free of cost nutritious meals to people living on streets and charge a nominal amount of Rs 5 from the people who can afford to buy this meal , this initiative appoints underprivileged women as cook and help them earn a living from the sale of meal . IN the last 11 months , we have been able to employ 4 women and feed 500 people / week . We further want to reach more needy people by setting up a centralised kitchen and employ more hunger along with feeding nutritious food to the ones who need.
In the first week 4 pilot surveys were organised in Delhi.

Post the successful test launch , full time temporary kitchens are operating in3 areas
1. Karol Bagh
2. Tilak Nagar
3. RK Puram
With 4 full time women being employed.
The funds shall be used to create a centralised kitchen at Vishwavidalya and a transport system shall ensure all Delhi food delivery which will further employ women that makes food and boys that shall deliver
Costing of set up -
1. Kitchen infrastructure ( 20ft*30ft) space ( Rental basis ) Rs 7000 per month
2. One time gas set up and supplements utensils, chimney , refrigerator- Rs 3,00,000 ( approx )
3. 2 months salary of 12 women ( until the model becomes self sustaining profit generating) - 2* 12*10,500 =Rs 2,52,000
* each women earning Rs 10,500 per month
4. Logistics set up cost ( 2 second hand scooters and cycles for food distribution) - Rs 50,000 per month
** the raised funds shall help in kitchen setup and 2 months operations of the bhojanalya
