    This fundraiser will benefit

    Srikar

    from Hyderabad, Telangana

My name is Siri and I am here to Raise Funds for my only brother Srikar, who is suffering with a heart condition Cardiac Arrhythmia.

A few months ago Srikar has had a road accident. While everything was fine at the beginning, Srikar has not been quite the same medically. The accident seemed to have taken a toll on his heart and left him with electrical issues requiring him to get a pacemaker. He is being diagnosed with a rare heart condition known as IST or Inappropriate Sinus Tachycardia, which is a rare type of Cardiac Arrhythmia. Basically, his heart speeds up and slows down drastically and without warning which leads to unexpected fainting, inability to move fast, fatigue and abnormally high/low blood pressure.
His cardiologist has guaranteed that a pacemaker ICD implant will cure his current condition, however his insurance will not cover the surgery which is going to cost him over 7 lakh rupees ($10,000) out of pocket. Most of the required amount had been amassed thanks to some of our relatives and a few great friends of his. But we still be needing some help as not only will the medical bills continue to pile up, the surgery bill and recovery medication is still due. We hate to have to go this route, but, as with many others, money has been a major stress factor for our family for some time now and it's hard to watch the people you love the most go through such a struggle. My parents would never personally ask anyone for help, but I'd really like to do anything and everything I'm capable of doing to help them in this stressful time. Please consider helping if you're able to and please keep our family in your thoughts.
Srikar is scheduled to undergo surgery in a week at Care Hospitals, Hyderabad and could really use our help. Any bit that you think you can possibly help with would be of great support!

I will keep this updated with his progress and anything we find out from the doctors.
