Hello Everyone,

I’m writing this on behalf of my friend (Sovan Ghosh) who is diagnosed with a brain tumor and currently admitted to Apollo Specialty Hospital, Chennai. He is 29 years old and a resident of Bongaon, North 24 Parganas, West Bengal.

He was suffering from severe headache and nausea for more than 10 days (late Feb, 2020) without any previous symptoms or history about any such problems. He was admitted to the Institute Of Neurosciences, Kolkata for couple of days but his health was deteriorating. So he was then taken to Chennai where he already had undergone two surgeries. During this one month, the expenses of his treatment already crossed a sum of Rs. 6 Lakhs and still counting.

Yesterday (6th April, 2020), the doctors confirmed about a brain tumor (grade 2) and he needs to undergo Radiation Therapy for next 40-45 days which will cost another Rs. 6-7 Lakhs approx. or far more than that including medicines and other non-medical expenses.
Sovan would be extremely grateful to us if we can stand by his side in this situation and help him by donating some amount.
