I am raising funds for my sister, Somashri Manna, who is 25 years old and is currently battling one of the most devastating medical crises our family has ever faced. What began as concerning neurological symptoms led to the discovery of a thalamic tumor measuring approximately 3.9 cm — a diagnosis that shattered our world completely. Somashri is young, full of life, and deserves every chance to fight this.
Somashri has already undergone an EVD surgery and a tumor removal procedure, with a VP shunt operation to follow shortly after. The biopsy confirmed embryonal cell carcinoma in the thalamus — an aggressive and rare form of cancer. To make matters critically worse, she has also contracted an Acinetobacter infection that is multi-drug resistant, making her treatment far more complex and expensive. The daily medical expenses are extraordinarily high, and the total estimated cost of his complete treatment has reached ₹40,00,000 (Forty Lakh Rupees). Our family simply does not have the means to sustain this financial burden alone.
Every single day matters for Somashri. The treatments are ongoing, the bills are mounting, and our family is doing everything possible to keep her alive and fighting. We humbly reach out to each one of you — please contribute whatever you can and share this campaign widely. Your support could truly save my sister's life.
