Somya, a young boy, based out of Nagpur has had the most harrowing 3 weeks of his life. Nothing like what he'd been prepared for!
At the beginning of May, Somya had to face the most difficult time of his life when his mom, urgently and almost immediately had to undergo a heart bypass surgery on very short notice. At the time, all Somya had was himself, he took care of everything in Nagpur and had to exhaust all his savings and family resources to pay for the bypass but Somya ran pillar to post to make it happen. While the surgery finally went through, fate had different plans for Somya & his mom, Lalima Mishra. Soon after, his mom was infected with covid and within a week's time succumbed to it in the hospital.

With everything put at stake, Somya lost his mom. Since then, things have been really difficult for him to manage because of the personal loss and added to it, the financial stress.

Our aim is to help Somya to look forward to building a new life, one that would make his mom proud and happy. The amount raised here will be used for his immediate needs and education in the coming future.
